Dr. Stefan Hummelink is a technical physician specialist in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Radboud University Medical Center in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Working at the intersection of medicine, engineering and clinical innovation, his research focuses on image-guided surgery, augmented reality, patient-specific 3D planning and digital patient care. He has contributed to the development and clinical application of technologies for breast reconstruction, including the projection of vascular anatomy, 3D-printed surgical aids and remote postoperative monitoring. His work aims to make reconstructive surgery more precise, personalized and efficient.
